I played Final Fantasy XIV, and it was, for the most part, pretty awesome. You should play Final Fantasy XIV, so you can play a game that is, for the most part, pretty awesome.
Soon, you will be able to play a game that is, for the most part, pretty awesome too. The closed beta for Final Fantasy XIV is ending on August 25th. The servers will be down until some time early next month, where the game will move into open beta until the game’s September 22nd release.
If you aren’t sure if your computer is up to snuff, you can test your computer using the benchmark. You also get treated to the nice fancy intro for the game.

All this talent wasted on an MMORPG that pales in comparison to WOW’s monolithic corporation. I’m still waiting for TWEWY:2, SMRPG:2 and a final fantasy 6 remake. Just sayin’ SQUARE ENIX. Just sayin’.

I don’t MIND a Final Fantasy MMO, but why are they wasting their main series on it. They should just have like “Final Fantasy Online” and not waste any of the main numbered titles. I’ve also heard that Final Fantasy XIII is going to be their last non-MMO Final Fantasy? I really hope thats a rumor. I’d try it out, but I get annoyed by what MMOs lack compared to normal RPGs.
Agreed with atomicadam. I hope FFXIII is not the last non-MMO final fantasy. I really like the single player ones. But I still want to play FFXIV cause I don’t play Wow or anything like that.
