The Fire Emblem series is kind of like Pokemon in the sense that, as it continues, only a handful of tweaks are made to the series. Sure to some hardcore fans, they seem like big changes. But outside of fans, they all look incredibly similar. Fire Emblem: New Mystery of the Emblem – Heroes of Shadow and Light is no different.
After the jump, you can find the new trailer. If you have played a Fire Emblem game, you know what to expect. Most of it is your typical back and forth combat. The main difference is the inclusion of the create a character mode, which I’m actually pretty excited for.
Fire Emblem: New Mystery of the Emblem – Heroes of Shadow and Light still lacks a North American or European announcement. Crossing my fingers for an announcement of Gamescom.

Looks good, but then again, it does kinds look like Shadow Dragon (which looked good IMO).
But if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it, eh?
Looks gorgeous. And a new “Casual Mode” where our units don’t die forever? Interesting.
I’m still waiting on a Gaiden remake.
