Not long ago The Grinder was announced to be heading to the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC in addition to the already existent Wii version. High Voltage Software decided to show the title off at GDC this year and a major changes have been made to the HD counterparts.

The Grinder, previously a first person shooter on Wii, is now a top down shooter. Similar to Smash TV and Robotron 2084 players use the left analog stick to move and the right analog stick to fire.

As of right now this top down shooter version is only planned for the game’s HD counter part.  High Voltage Software is currently determining whether or not to keep the Wii version as a first person shooter right now or changing it to the top down perspective that the HD consoles have.

I’m all for first person on the Wii. How about you guys?

I never really liked first-person on the Wii… too much work for your arms and I have slow reflexes. ._.
