This trailer is actually from Tokyo Game Show, which happened almost a month ago. I’m not sure what held this up from being released by here it is now. I’m not a huge Kingdom Hearts fan but I’m a bit interested in this one. Maybe down the line if I get a PSP I’ll grab it, but can’t say for sure.
Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep has a January 9th 2010 release date in Japan. The title will come to North America and Europe some time after that.
Lots of interesting things there. I’m really looking forward to this game. Particularly the new worlds: I could make out Snow White, Cinderella, and Lilo & Stitch (Stitch’s Planet?) as new worlds and an expanded Neverland (I guess Ven’s interactions with Tinkerbell is why she acts like she recognizes Roxas in 358/2) from this trailer and some of the screen shots I’ve seen.
Also, it looks like we finally get to see some more of the Organization XIII members before they became heartless. I specifically saw Vexen, Lexaeus, and Xaldin. Should be interesting.
Lastly, I wonder who the mystery guy that surprised Ven by pulling out a keyblade was. He has the same stature and fighting stance as Riku, so I’m going to guess that whoever it is, he’s got a connection to him like Ven seems to have with Sora and Roxas.
This trailer leaves me with much anticipation.
I thought 358/2 Days was a weird game at first sight. But there is something about this game that is very strange in particular. I don’t know what though. It looks cool, but I don’t have a PSP anyway!
Wow, that was fantastic. I really can’t wait for BBS. Good thing I got some time left to pick up a new PSP.
