Fallout New Vegas has finally gotten its first patch for the console versions, and I can personally confirm an improved level of gameplay, and less freezing.  Senior producer in the Fallout team reports that it has fixed over 200 minor glitches and freezing issues, but that it has not fixed all the problems.  I can also verify this, because while my gaming experience is much better now, there is still stuttering issues and I’ve had a single freeze when I tried to do too much at once.  While there’s a long way to go before the game is up to actual standards, it’s a start, and I’ll take a start.
